The “18th Michey Mouse Karate Trophy” (Kata), organized by FIKTA in cooperation with FIAM and Publications & Promotion, with support of US Acli, and under the aegis of the Walt Disney Company Italy S.p.a., will take place in Montecatini Terme (Pistoia) the 30th and 31st May 2009 to the Palasport , Via Cimabue.
All young karate students members of any Federation, Organization or Promotion Board and trainees of any karate style can participate in the competition, provided that they are in conformity for the present year to the membership, the insurance and the official sanitary regulations in force. All children must also have an identity document (such as passport) with them.
The event foresees both individual and team competitions. Competitors in individual contests will be divided by sex (men – women) in the following age categories:

Athletes will further divided in rank(belt) groupings as follow:
Yellow belt |
Orange belt |

Competitors wearing belt of 2 or more colors or of different color from the one of the personal budo pass will not accepted.
Competitors can perform the following kata: Heian and Taikyoku Shodan 1-2-3-4-5 (shotokan) Pinan 1-2-3-4-5 (wado ryu and shito ryu) Taikyoku 1-2-3 and Gekisai 1–2(goju).
In case of several performances the kata performed previously can be repeated. Final results will be done adding each performance score.
It will be verified the age and the grade of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd classified athletes of each category, (for this they will have to show the appropriate documentations) as well as the ID-card of membership issued by their organization attesting the rank. In case of irregularity the participant will be disqualified and its place will be taken by the next classified athlete.
Team competition: each team will be composed of 3 athletes (the same athlete cannot be part of more teams) independently from their belt, of which at least two of them must be of the same age category and for the third athlete one year allowance will be admitted, but always included in the above-mentioned categories.
Teams will be devided per cathegory and in 2 groups:
Group 1 : yellow orange green belt,
Group 2 : blue, brown, black belt.
A athlete of group 1 can compete in group 2, and a athete blue belt of group 2 can compete in group 1.

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed athletes of each category will be awarded. All participants will receive a souvenir of the event, a certificate of attendance and various gadgets. Special prizes will be also drawn.
The organizing Committee refuses every responsibility for any accident it will occur to people or things before, during and after the event. During the registration each club will assume the responsibility that their own members are in conformity to the sanitary and medical requirements established by the hosting Country law and everything settled in the present rules.
Clubs have no limit number for athletes and teams registrations.
Substitutes or registrations on the spot are not allowed.

Registration fee of 10,00 euros per competitor will be paid directly on the spot by cash.

Please indicate the accompanying person responsible, and note that there must be an accompaning responsible every 9/12 participants.
We will not accept incomplete application forms or without the name of the accompanying responsible after the 20th April 2009.
Any change and substitution will be accepted until the 15th May 2009.
Strictly no applications in place. The deadline time of accreditation is strictly fixed because we need to let you know in the proper useful time any variation if there will be a remarkable difference of the number of participants of the different categories. The competition organizer will not be responsible for any accident that will happen to persons or things before during and after the tournament. With application and registration the clubs accept the responsibility that their competitors must be accompanied by the officials of the club, that they have regular medical release certification according to the law, that they are covered by insurance and whatever required by the tournament organizer rules.
